"It all started with my mother-in-law's sewing machine"

As a small business located in East Rand, Johannesburg, our mission is to bring about a handcrafted brand with something unique to offer while being sustainable.

It began during the darkest moments of my life when i found a dusty sewing machine my mom-in-law had packed away before she could pass on, and then i taught myself how to make all kinds of scrunchies, wristlets and small garments.

Over- time i had used my new found skill to fuel a legacy project like Majisti Handmade to honour my late mother and mother-in-law.
